1. Eligibility

Poplay is not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use Poplay. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use Poplay only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Service description

Poplay is a browser game platform that lets users play online games and lets creators submit, host, publish, and operate web games through Poplay tools and services.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Poplay at any time, including games, publishing features, SDK features, APIs, storage limits, realtime services, analytics features, or moderation workflows.

3. Accounts and access

Some areas of Poplay may require authentication or administrative access. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity conducted through your access.

You may not bypass access controls, interfere with service operation, probe private systems, or use Poplay in a way that harms Poplay, users, creators, infrastructure, or third-party services.

4. Permitted use

• You may use Poplay to browse and play games for personal entertainment.
• You may use developer tools, SDK features, and publishing features only in accordance with Poplay documentation, technical limits, and these Terms.
• You may not copy, scrape, mirror, resell, reverse engineer, disrupt, or commercially exploit Poplay except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

5. Creator submissions

If you submit a game, asset, repository link, metadata, description, screenshot, note, or other material to Poplay, you represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary to submit it and allow Poplay to use it as described in these Terms.

You retain ownership of your submitted content. You grant Poplay a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, store, process, review, test, display, perform, distribute, promote, index, adapt for technical compatibility, and make your submitted content available through Poplay.

This license continues for as long as needed to operate, promote, moderate, archive, or remove the relevant content, and to maintain reasonable records of submissions, reviews, disputes, and enforcement actions.

6. Submission review and moderation

Poplay may review, reject, approve, publish, unpublish, archive, remove, or request changes to submitted games or content at our discretion.

We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates security or privacy risks, contains harmful code, misleads users, degrades service quality, or is otherwise unsuitable for Poplay.

7. Prohibited content and conduct

• Do not submit or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, malicious, or harmful.
• Do not upload malware, hidden miners, credential collectors, unauthorized trackers, or code that attempts to escape Poplay hosting controls.
• Do not collect sensitive personal information from players through Poplay games or game services unless you have a lawful basis, clear notice, and all required consents.
• Do not manipulate votes, play counts, leaderboards, recommendations, analytics, reviews, or platform systems.
• Do not overload, scan, attack, or interfere with Poplay infrastructure or third-party infrastructure used by Poplay.

8. Game services, SDK, and APIs

Poplay may provide SDKs, APIs, leaderboards, cloud saves, JSON documents, realtime rooms, analytics events, and other platform services for supported games.

You are responsible for your game logic, player experience, data sent through SDK or API features, and any notices or consents required for your game-specific data practices.

Poplay may set technical limits, rate limits, storage limits, payload limits, moderation rules, or access controls for these services. We may suspend or revoke access for abuse, security risk, excessive usage, or policy violations.

9. Intellectual property

Poplay and its platform, branding, software, design, documentation, and service elements are owned by Poplay or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Third-party games and creator content remain the responsibility of their respective creators or rights holders. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Poplay intellectual property or creator-owned content except for the licenses expressly granted.

10. Third-party games, links, and services

Poplay may contain third-party games, links, assets, services, repositories, and content. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, availability, security, or practices.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies from those third parties.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. By using Poplay, you also agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers

Poplay is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that every game will work on every device, that game data will never be lost, that leaderboards or analytics will always be accurate, or that Poplay will be free from errors, downtime, vulnerabilities, or harmful third-party content.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poplay and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to Poplay or these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Poplay, remove content, disable game services, or take other reasonable action if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, infringed rights, abused the service, or caused harm to Poplay, users, creators, or third parties.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice as required by applicable law. Continued use of Poplay after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
