• Usage and device data, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, viewport and screen size, language, referrer, entry page, pages viewed, game pages visited, search terms, clicks, votes, shares, load status, play duration, and similar interaction data.
• Cookies and local storage data, including anonymous visitor identifiers, attribution data, vote state, last played game, and session markers used to operate and improve the service.
• Game service data, including anonymous player IDs, session tokens, display names, leaderboard scores, leaderboard metadata, cloud save data, JSON document data, realtime room presence, room metadata, and messages required to run multiplayer or connected game features.
• Creator submission data, including author or team name, contact information, game package files, cover images, screenshots, repository links, requested platform capabilities, notes, review status, review results, admin notes, preview links, and publication records.
• Admin account data, including username, role, authentication token, and activity necessary to manage Poplay content and operations.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate, secure, and maintain Poplay and its games.
• To create game sessions, support leaderboards, cloud saves, JSON documents, realtime rooms, votes, play counts, and other gameplay features.
• To review, host, publish, moderate, and promote submitted games.
• To analyze traffic, search behavior, game performance, recommendations, and product usage.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, cheating, security incidents, and technical issues.
• To communicate with creators about submissions, reviews, changes, publication, support, and policy issues.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

Poplay uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to keep the service working, remember gameplay-related preferences, measure usage, and understand how people discover and use Poplay.

We use ThinkingData analytics to collect product analytics events such as page views, referrers, game views, play starts, play duration, search events, card impressions, votes, shares, fullscreen actions, game load status, and SDK tracking events sent by games.

4. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. We may share information with service providers and infrastructure vendors that help us operate Poplay, including analytics, cloud hosting, storage, database, upload, security, and realtime service providers.

Submitted game assets may be stored with cloud storage providers and may become publicly accessible when a game is approved, hosted, previewed, or published.

5. Public and third-party content

Poplay hosts games and content created by Poplay, creators, teams, and other third parties. Game pages, creator names, screenshots, descriptions, public leaderboard entries, and public game data may be visible to other users.

Games may send custom analytics events or store game-specific data through Poplay services. Creators must not use Poplay game services to collect sensitive personal information unless they have a lawful basis and clear notice to players.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Poplay, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, analyze service performance, and preserve publication or moderation records.

Anonymous visitor cookies may last up to one year. Admin authentication cookies may last up to seven days. Creator submission records, game assets, leaderboard entries, cloud saves, and moderation records may be retained while the related game, account, or operational need remains active.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, or information about how your personal information is used and shared.

8. Children's privacy

Poplay is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 must not use Poplay or submit information to Poplay. Users who are at least 13 but under the age of majority in their jurisdiction may use Poplay only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

9. International processing

Poplay may process and store information in countries or regions other than where you live. Those places may have data protection rules that differ from the rules in your jurisdiction.
